10.0Having traveled across Finland from Helsinki to Inari and stayed in various apartments—including some that were more expensive and highly rated—this is the first place I’ve stayed that truly lacks nothing one might need. At the entrance, you’ll find coat hooks and a shoehorn. The bathroom is stocked with toilet paper, various soaps, and a floor squeegee that actually works. Although the listing description hasn't been updated, there is Wi-Fi. The bed is comfortable—a real bed with a real mattress. In the kitchen, you’ll find paper towels, cocoa powder, coffee and filters, sugar, oven mitts, and absolutely everything else, including dish soap. The apartment is in a very quiet, distinctive location, you won't often see scenery like this in Finland, as the landscape is usually much flatter. Access instructions were provided promptly, and since it is privately managed, you can really sense the care and warmth infused into the space. It feels nothing like a cold, sterile environment—quite the opposite.
− There are no specific "quiet hours," so you might hear university students upstairs, though if you’re a normal sleeper, you won't notice them at all. My partner is used to waking up several times during the night, so he heard voices and laughter.
