8.0This is not just a small resort it is also a very good place to eat Nilus restaurant serves delicious home cooked food . The owner is a kite surfing instructor and lessons and equipment can be booked with him directly. It was the owners and their children that made our stay so nice.
− The bathroom was small with no place to put things so everything got very wet from the shower. The space was partly open. Again the 2 beds filled the room making it very cramped, but under the circumstances of the more recent cyclone it was a nice place.

− We just didn't like Kalpitiya, I'd recommend this place (Kalpitiya) if you are a kitesurfer, but that's it.

10.0We decided to come to Kalpityia spontaneously and made a last minute booking. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, we felt really comfortable there. He made us an excellent dinner too. The whole area is basically a family business, all people we met were really warm and friendly. The accommodation is just a stone's throw from the beach, which is particularly great for kite surfing. It's a peaceful place surrounded by nature, perfect for both relax and activities.
