10.0We had a wonderful stay at Casa Vacanza Il Castagneto in Carbognano. The house is spacious, absolutely beautiful, and spotlessly clean. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The bed creaked a little, but it was still very comfortable and we slept well. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back!

8.0A bit difficult to find, but a great welcome, keys for apartment and explanation of the usual things given in English, thank you, and the moto was put in the locked garage. The bed was very comfortable, but needed oiling: I have never slept in such a noisy bed before! Huge apartment, very clean and tidy. Beautiful dogs! Interesting location with all the nut trees. An interesting walk DOWN to the town, and back UP again!! Thank you for a great week. Andrew.
− I seem to remember there was a bath in one of the website pictures, but not at the property: might be wrong. The shower was a bit sluggish, but the water was hot! Sadly, the inbuilt oven was not working, though a smaller portable one was provided. Noisy bed. Internet was intermittent, and slow. The write up mentioned checkout until 11am., but on the morning I left I found a note instructing me to leave by 10am.. All small points in themselves but I would have rated you even higher without them.
Good to know
The garden is shared with the owners who live on the ground floor. We have two dogs living in the garden, a setter and a labrador, but they are in a fenced box at night.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
