A relaxing riverside escape - beautiful setting and very comfortable!

Beautiful setting & views - Waking up to the river, watching the light shift across the water, the surrounding bushland - all of it made for a peaceful, immersive nature escape. Comfortable accommodations - The rooms and beds were comfortable, and the layout felt well designed for relaxing.

− Maintenance / condition issues - Some parts of the place could have done with a refresh (e.g. minor wear and tear, finishes, bits that felt a little tired). Cleanliness in detail - While generally clean, there were a few overlooked spots (corners, behind furniture, or outdoor gear) that could be improved.

We had a truly wonderful holiday at this fantastic property. Sharon went above and beyond by providing a small boat and kayaks for us to embark on little adventures, which we greatly appreciated. The thoughtful welcome gifts added a lovely personal touch. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the variety of board games kept us entertained. We also enjoyed the opportunity to BBQ! Sharon is by far the most attentive host we've ever had the pleasure of staying with. I highly recommend this place to everyone as a little slice of paradise. 🫶🏻
