A house in a need of a deep clean
4.0The location was excellent in relation to the beach. And very scenic area , my wife likes the black out blind in the kids room
− So when you walked in the front door the first thing you were met with was a very bad musty smell. This musty smell also continued into the beds. When you were asleep at night , you could smell the mustiness off the the mattress. The house was also so cluttered. And it is far from being newly renovated. It may have been newly renovated 20 years ago. Also I had to unblock the toilet. We were asked to put rubbish into the bins when we were leaving, but the bins out the back were packed tight. The cooking facilities were a joke switches on the cooker for the oven and grill were damaged.Couldn't turn on properly.Culturally plates and pots all dirty. When I booked, it is mentioned that there was breakfast. There was a bit of breakfast for one morning. Some of which was already open and half used. This property property looks like a house that is lived in , and the people move out just to rent it for the summer booking com would want to take a serious look at this rental property. And I would highly recommend that they would remove it from their listings. I definitely would not stay here again. And I definitely would not recommend it to anyone. In fact, I would discourage it. I think for what it is.It is grossly overpriced , and I would seek at least one night's compensation for it.
It was disappointing but thankfully weather was so could we could sit outside.
1.0Location was lovely, garden is gorgeous and house very close to the beach, linens and towels were fresh and clean. Lovely touches such as fresh flowers from the gardens and breakfast items provided.
− Property is listed as newly renovated but I feel this is false advertising. Though the host has tried their best to make it comfortable for guests the smell in the house is so bad and the whole place requires a proper deep clean to make it up to standard for paying guests. We still made the most of the beautiful location but would never have booked this if we’d known how old and rough this house was. Future guests should be aware this is a very old house with very low doorways and ceilings and head knocks shall happen no matter how careful you are.

8.0Backyard, hiking, beach, view,
− Moldy smell, more breakfast foods
No complaints, Samantha is very prompt and helpful.
8.0The breakfast was really well done, Sam had left lots of choices
− We had problems with the hot water on the main floor. We are not accustomed to how to get the hot water started so had cold. We did have hot showers upstairs however. The location was nice, very small town after crowds at many of the sights.
