Amazing, historical location and building on canal side. Very spacious. Everything necessary available (scissors etc). Good communication.

− Not really luxorious as described (scrappy roll-ups on windows, basic IKEA furniture). OK bed, small towels. Wish there were some seats outside to sit by the canal.

Quiet and Peaceful apartment in good location

Firstly, I would like to thank Justus for perfect communication from start to end. The directions to the apartment and how to get in were satisfactory. I did like how the key pad worked and the 3-way locking system once inside. It did feel safe, and the blinds were perfect. Finding the apartment was easy using the maps and where the apartment is, such a great location. You can take the steps down opposite Waaterstraat if you want to, but there are two other steps you can walk down too. They are not that steep, but bear in mind if you have a lot of luggage. Once inside the apartment, you are greeted with space and curving ceilings. It really adds to the atmosphere that you're in a canal apartment. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the fridge is big enough. Under the sink is all the cleaning products you might need. The lounge area is big, the sofa is comfy and the TV is unique and you can adjust how you want. The dining table is handy. The bedroom is separated with curtains and a glass wall and door for extra security. There were two single beds on a double bed frame. The bed was comfy and the pillows. There's also an ironing board and airer for your clothes and lots of hanging space. The bathroom is perfect with a walk-in shower, and the sink worked well. The washing machine with a dryer was an added bonus and had good energy efficient settings. Clothes can be dry in 45 minutes! It was quite quiet at night, but it seems that in Utrecht, people like to have fun every night! But the noise did die down after 11pm. In the late afternoons, it was nice to sit (from inside) and watch the ducks, and the kayaks and boats go by. Would be nice to have a bench outside to sit on. It was a very peaceful place. It is situated along the Oudegracht and nearby is a good interactive museum where you can find out how they lived a long time ago. And there is the Pathé cinema which shows current films. Nearby is the Albert Heijn shop and its a big one with lots of choice.

− There was a time when people came by playing music and stopped, but they didn't stop long. There is a security camera outside for added safety as well as the locking system.

Der vorherige Kontakt mit dem Verwalter war einwandfrei. Alle Fragen wurden wurden zügig beantwortet. Das Apartment ist sehr groß und es ist gemütlich. Wenn man Abends mal zu müde ist noch rauszugehen, hat man sogar Netflix um abzuschalten. Die Lage ist super. 5 Min Fussmarsch und man ist am Anfang vom Zentrum. Dort ist auch ein Supermarkt Albert Hein. Ein anderer Albert Hein ist in der anderen Richtung in 5 bis 10 Min Fussmarsch. Restaurants, Cafes und Kneipen gibt es überall mehr als genug. Wenn man shoppen will, braucht man drei Tage um alles zu sehen. Die besonderen Geschäfte sind auch in den Nebenstraßen. Meine Empfehlung für Käseliebhaber: Mittwochs und Samstags ist auf dem Marktplatz entlang der Straße der vorletzte Stand einer wo man fast alle Käsesorten probieren kann. Die haben kleine Käsewürfel auf Holzbretter. Die vakuumieren den gekauften Käse auch. Wenn man sein Auto nicht in 25 Minuten entfernten freien Parkplätzen parken will, empfehle ich die Parkhäuser P3 oder P4 vom großen Einkaufszentrum. Ich habe 75€ bezahlt für Dienstag bis Samstag (kompletter Tag) bei Onlinebuchung. Das sind nur 10 Minuten Fussmarsch und ganz leicht zu finden. Eine Grachtenfahrt (1 Stunde lang) ist auch zu empfehlen). Anlegeplatz ist in 5 Min Fussmarsch.

Location was great. Clean & Very Spacious.

− Only lacking a Bath Mat as floor can be slippery, Bath towels too tiny, Maybe some teabags just a few to start ppl off ,and definately a property name or number as couldnt find the property for ages when its only 5 min walk from the train station. Had to refer to pictures online from outside to find it took ages walking back n forth.
