The location was great as everything was within walking distance. The flat was big, comfortable and the sea view was fabulous with beautiful sunsets. The flat was well equipped with plenty tea and coffee too. Instructions for entering the building and flat were very clear and easy to follow. I appreciated Lee Ann keeping in touch to ensure we were enjoying our stay and offering assistance.

On entering the building I thought "what have I booked" as it looked quite run down, however once we accessed the flat we were delighted. The only thing I thought could be improved was the lighting in the main room as it wasn't very bright (for reading).

Spectacular views and spot on location

7.0

The location was fantastic, and the views spectacular

There is no good light for reading in the evening. The shower itself is good but it's impossible to take a shower without water wetting the floor. On Saturday the property owner of the flat below came to complain to us about leaking on his ceiling.

Great location, amazing space, we felt very much at home.

Very spacious, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, very good shower pressure.

The kitchen bin is very small, not really fit for purpose. The shower head is also very small! Given the excellent water pressure, the shower head could easily be a lot larger.

Adliv Margate Seaview

5.0

Location, view, decor, clean linen/towels, comfortable beds and spacious.

The cleanliness wasn't up to par, stone tiles in the bathroom and toilet was full of limescale, damp and mold smell in every room except the smaller room, poor lighting (orange bulbs). The smell through the property forced us to check out a day early it was unbearable. Juliet doors were full of dust and webs and the fridge needed a deep clean. More attention to cleaning would have made the stay more comfortable.

Great apartment in a fabulous location

10.0

The apartment is lovely - great location, great view and the beds were very comfortable. The communication with the hosts was good. Shame about the weather, but it was still nice to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine at sunset and with a coffee in the morning. The snacks were a nice touch... Loved that we didn't have to buy toilet roll or pods for the coffee machine - especially since we only stayed 2 nights... Tips: parking on Fort Crescent is free if you can find a space, I left the car here and we took the loop bus to Ramsgate and Broadstairs which was more relaxing (£6.90 for a day hop on/off pass). Many restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (in May) as well as the shell grotto and crab museum - will have to return for these!! If you are short like we are, use the ladle to open the top bolt on the balcony door in the kitchen - the other balcony doors don't open, but that didn't matter...

I felt it was quite expensive for mid May, but that was because I booked it well in advance. There may be better deals for booking nearer the date, however, then you run the risk that a lovely apartment like this is booked up...
