Amazing location, great access to outdoors, Bangor, and Acadia, with some minor issues
7.0Gorgeous view of the lake from kitchen and bedroom. Nice surrounding area with room to walk dogs. Close and easy access to Bangor. Easy check in process (preset code). Large bed and full kitchen, comfy living room. Loved Moo-Moo’s for breakfast (try the bread!).
− - Amenities not fully stocked (Keurig with mold, did not have shower soap, limited hot water/water pressure) - Bed was noisy. May not affect most trips, but the sound made it hard for our infant to stay asleep whenever we moved in the bed. - Not the owner’s fault, but seems to be a logging operation on the next lot over with morning/weekend work hours. - Quite a few mosquitos in the yard and road most days. Not uncommon to see some near water but we did not use the deck in order to avoid. For the price, we will probably look at alternatives next time. The property has lots of positive reviews on AirBnb, so we may have had bad luck. We still appreciated the chance to stay and loved the area!
