We absolutely loved the scenery and how safe the area was. Torca is very quiet and allows you to get away from the busyness of the city!

− Public transpiration was a downfall. It was almost a 20 minute walk from the town of torca to the house. 20 mins doesn’t seem bad until it’s pretty windy and hilly. Only problem was the bus that takes you from the center of torca to the bus stop by the house, only runs until 8pm. We got into a couple predicaments where we had to walk in the dark back from the town center to the house. It’s almost about an hour outside of sorrento so be prepared for lots of walking and not really reliable public transportation. If you have any excursions you are planning to do, plan ahead and maybe think about renting a car or Vespa if possible.

Heerlijk huis in rustig dorp. Met op het balkon prachtig uitzicht.Vlakbij gezellige bars en restaurants. Goed uitgerust huis,van alle gemakken voorzien. Super aardige host,die goed bereikbaar is en gastvrij. Wij komen graag terug,op deze heerlijke plek.

− Uitzicht op het dakterras viel ons wat tegen.We zaten qua uitzicht mooier,op het balkon. Wel is het terras goed onderhouden, mooie planten en bloemen. Bereik naar terras is buitenom, en de trap kan wat lastig gevonden worden.

Very well appointed spacious apartment in quiet location on the Amalfi. Has all the amenities you need and is modern and comfortable. Great view of the ocean and a stunning rooftop sun/dining area. Communication and information from owner was excellent, and helped with recommendations for the area. Out of the busy tourist areas, but only 25 min drive to Sorrento and 40mins to Positano.

− Nothing really, parking on the narrow streets can be hard at times, but always managed to find one nearby you just have to get inventive. Roads are narrow so would recommend a smaller car.

A spacious, clean, and tidy apartment with full amenities. As for the kitchen, it includes dishes, pots, pans, a microwave, oven, a large fridge stocked with essential products, a coffee maker, and more. Above the apartment, accessible by stairs, there is a large terrace with sun loungers, tables, chairs, a sunshade, and so on. Of course, the main highlight is the sea view! The town where we stayed is small, but it has everything you might need: butcher, vegetable and ice cream shops, a tobacco store, and a restaurant (perhaps even more than one, but we didn’t need to explore further). However, if you drive or walk about 15 minutes, you’ll reach a larger town, Sant’Agata, where you’ll find a wider range of dining options—snack bars, restaurants, pizzerias, grocery stores, supermarkets, and so on. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful host, Mariangela, who helped us every step of the way—from greeting us and finding a parking spot for the car to assisting with trips to Sorrento and more. She was always available, responded quickly to any request, was clear, friendly, kind, and truly sensitive to solving problems—even when those problems were ours, not hers. So, a huge thank-you to Mariangela for everything! We’re happy to have met her and sincerely hope we’ve found not only a host we’d love to return to, but also a true friend!
