Brilliant place to stay! Would book again!

We had a fantastic holiday! Felt like home as soon as we walked in. It was spotless and had everything you could need. Beds were very comfy. Bonus having a 2nd toilet in the main bedroom. 2nd Tv in main bedroom. Brilliant location, nice and quiet road. Space at the back & side of the caravan for children to play, felt more private with hedge in between the next caravan. Kids loved playing out on the veranda which was secure with a gate. 2 minute walk from the main facilities. Little play park a few seconds up the road was a bonus. We would love to come back again! Baby Ella had a fab first holiday. Thank you for a lovely stay.

It was so cosy and the bed was so comfortable! I did not want to get out of it in the morning. The kitchen had everything you needed too

Location of caravan was excellent

− Haven charging £176 for 5 passes for our 3 night stay to enable us to book for swimming and get into the entertainment centre

Frustrating experience, could have easily been remedied by the owners.

The caravan was nice and was clean. We only stayed 2 nights so didn’t buy a (fairly expensive) leisure pass to use the on-site facilities but the bar/restaurant seemed good and the grounds were well kept. Helpful staff in the shop. The fish and chip takeout was very good and the takeaway deliveries to the caravan were useful. We were near a small but well-equipped playground which the children enjoyed. It’s in a lovely area with interesting coves, good beaches and lots to do.

− 1. Absolutely no instructions about how to use anything, the only place I’ve stayed without a ‘housekeeping’ booklet. Would’ve saved us a lot of time and frustration with trial and error and we wouldn’t have needed to get in touch with the owners if there had been one. 2. We reported just after we arrived that the TV was only getting Freeview after PAT testing. After a few suggestions from the owners, which we’d already tried, they went quiet. We were looking forward to watching satellite TV in the evenings while the children were in bed but they didn’t attempt to fix it for us. Not acceptable when we had booked specifically for that to be available. Presumably it would have to be up and running for the next guests anyway. 3. Safety: the shower is dangerously slippery. There should be a sticker to say so and a non-slip mat. 4. The single beds are quite hard, easily fixed with toppers.

Eine tolle Möglichkeit in einem privat verwalteten Mobile-Home zu Übernachten. Es fehlte an nichts und das Platzangebot ist mehr als ausreichend. Das Mobile-Home in der Caravan Anlage Thornwick Bay ist sehr gut ausgestattet und alles war frisch und sauber-man fühlte sich beim Aufschließen der Tür sofort wohl und es war wie zu Hause ankommen. Der Kontakt (Telefon und Mail) zu den Eigentümern war mehr als nur nett und auch bei Rückfragen wurde sofort geholfen. Alles top!!!
