Quiet and rural
8.0Loved the room. Wonderful bed. Nice grounds and pool. The area is rural and where Balinese live. It was quiet and beautiful. I walked from there, about 90 minutes to the Blue Lagoon on Ceningan Island and chatted with locals all along the way. Much nicer than whizzing by on a scooter
− Far away from everything which is ok if you rent a scooter but I didn't feel confident. The cleaning woman was annoying. On my last day, at 7:55am, she was hovering on my deck, and making noises to wake me up At 9am, she angrily demanded I leave the room to let her clean it. Checkout is noon!!! I ignored her but it was very annoying. Also, the manager procrastinated on fixing my shower. Of my ten days there, I had only two hot showers. Cold water doesn't get sunscreen off!!! Also, I was sick for a few days and cold showers weren't helping.
No chance to reach the reception ever!

− The contact to the reception/agency wouldn't have been impossible. We wanted to make a change of our booking 10 days before arriving. I talked to the guy who is sometimes there to check you in but can't do anything with a booking. Apparently that the job of the agency who's managing this place. He gave us the number of them but neither call nor text was successful. Piss poor for a 4* place if you ask me.
