The apartment was well appointed with all basic necessities covered. The host was very gracious and extra helpful. The location was safe and convenient.

The hosts were really nice people and made a good effort to make sure everything went well. The location is within walking distance of Sancancio mall with all the basics like a gym, banks, food, restaurants and stores. There are several grocery stores you can walk to within 5 minutes. Cabs and transportation are five minutes away. The unit has a wonderful view out the kitchen window. The unit has a nice breeze and good air flow. The building was pretty quiet. Washer worked well, Internet was fast. Hot water worked well. Kitchen had adequate plates, pots and pans. Gas stove worked well. Couch and bed were comfortable for a person over 6 feet. Unit was light and bright and had good lighting and privacy shades. Fridge and freezer worked well.

− The following are not deal breakers but things to consider. This location is close to the mall so it can be a bit noisy at commute times. I would just slip on headphones at peak commute times. The noise can also serve as an alarm clock in the morning as the city wakes up around 6am. Also Manizales is a city of hills so at times car noise can be a bit loud as cars and motorcycles accelerate to climb hills. Noise quiets at night. Every once in a while you can smell a bit of car/motorcycle exhaust depending on how strong the winds are blowing and if you leave your windows open all day long. This unit is also near taller apartment buildings so its not uncommon for others to see you and for you to see others if you keep your blinds wide open.
