A Great Place To Stay

10.0

I stayed at this gorgeous property over the weekend and had a fantastic time. The place is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature. I loved having my morning coffee while watching peacocks wander the grounds. The facilities are excellent and the owners couldn’t have been lovelier. Their communication was spot on too, even before my trip they sent clear directions which made finding the property easy. A few reviews mention that the track leading up is rough, which is true as it is a working farm, but I had no trouble driving my low-slung sports car up and down, just have to take it slow. Overall a really special place with great hosts. Highly recommended and I will be returning in the future!

Very pleasant and I would use again.

The location is perfect if you want to be off the beaten path as it's up a narrow farm track. Beware if you have a low slung car - the track is 'agricultural'!!!

The owners forgot to send the location instructions and I spent 45 minutes trying to find it, as it's up a very narrow lane with not much in the way of signage. They were very apologetic and it was a simple oversight on their behalf, but I couldn't even raise them on the number provided.

The owners were so friendly and helpful, and all the homely touches were really appreciated. The property is in a great location and was perfect for our family weekend. We especially loved watching the peacocks.

Owners couldn't help you enough - very lovely couple and bonus points you can buy freshly smoked bacon from their farm. Loved watching the peacocks being fed each day. Cosy place in great proximity of the mountains.

The best place for star gazing

10.0

Sweet, secluded cottage, it was so peaceful there is a green with a river running alongside. Peacocks roam about. It's idyllic. The owners were fab available on the phone and going about their business. The kitchen was very clean and had everything you need. A pots worth of lush coffee, sugar and milk were left for our arrival. I think there were also some waffles/wafers but they had been munched before I saw them. I've never seen so many stars at night. As it was so out of the way and dark. The photos really don't do It justice

Only one small critic I have is its up quite a bumpy country lane/driveway. The hosts said they would drop or pick us and our stuff up if the car wasn't up to it.
