A horrible stay

Upon arrival, we were surprised by how old and worn the house was. The furniture is outdated, the property feels dark and gloomy, and the bedroom receives very little natural light even on sunny days. There was also a strong musty smell throughout the house, which forced us to open all the windows immediately to improve ventilation. The kitchen equipment was not properly maintained. Many utensils, plates, and kitchen items were dirty and sticky, requiring us to wash everything before use. The mattress was extremely old, stained, and clearly worn out from previous guests. It caused significant back pain for both of us during our stay. When I raised the issue with Manuel, his initial response was that no previous guests had complained. Despite reporting the problem promptly, we had to wait about a week before a replacement mattress was provided, and even then it appeared to be a used mattress taken from another property managed by the agency. The bathroom was also disappointing. The shower temperature constantly fluctuated between very hot and very cold, making it uncomfortable to use, and the overall condition of the shower showed clear signs of poor maintenance. The check-out experience was equally unpleasant. Although Booking.com stated that check-out was until 12:00, Manuel insisted that we leave before 11:00. When I showed him a screenshot from Booking.com, he told me that he does not use Booking.com as a reference and instead follows a PDF document that I had never signed or agreed to. To make matters worse, after our departure Manuel informed me that €60 would be withheld from the €200 security deposit because the property was allegedly left dirty. This accusation was completely unfounded.

Es war sehr schön und erholsam. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Am allerbesten waren wirklich der Pool und der schöne Garten.
