− Unfortunately there was an issue with the BBQ on our stay but the lovely hosts offered us their own BBQ so we had our lovely dinner eventually.

10.0I loved the quirkiness of the accommodation the fireplace was just the best. Very cosy and unique. Perfect for those who like something different. Hosts were fantastic and location is perfect. Highly recommend.

Quirky with a step back to more simple times
7.0It was a surprise to step back in time but a good experience. The owners were lovely and accommodating
− I didn’t realise when booking that there was no wifi, but we were able to go into nearby Paeroa to connect, as we were travelling with an overseas guest who needed to make a booking because of the current situation with air travel, otherwise it was good to switch off for a night
