The main selling point upon booking was the included parking. The shower (water pressure) was good. The location was good with a play park located a few hundred metres from the apartment and our grandson loved this. Also, Oban shops and so on were but a 5 minute walk.

− The apartment is advertised as able to take 6 people. The kitchen has a 2 slice toaster! Maybe a little more thought could have been put into this. The microwave had the (curry?) smell from the folks before us. The windows were dirty throughout the property. The main seating (couch/folding bed) was uncomfortable as the seating area was too large and there was no option to recline with your feet up....a must after spending a day wandering the streets of Oban. The addition of electric trim fan(s) would have been a nice touch. The indoor temperature was just too hot for comfort. The living room furniture was (I assume) from IKEA and just looked cheap. You play 650 for 4 nights and you expect to feel pampered.....a home from home. None of us, even our 7 year old grandson felt this. The basics were often found missing.....simple things like a chopping board. Knives in a block and not just dumped into a drawer (without liner) to rattle around with all the other kitchen related objects/tools you might expect. The sealant around the bathroom was discoloured and not entirely inviting. The ceiling extractor fan didn't seem to work. The outside of the apartment was just a weed-fest. But the single biggest problem we found was upon our arrival. We all got out of the car and started removing our luggage and out 7 year old grandson, doing what kids do, wandered around the back of the property. I followed a few seconds later to find him looking panic struck as he struggled to hold a heavy wooden door that had started to fall towards him! It was not secured to the outbuilding in any way, shape or form. Had I not felt the urge to see what he was up to......I shudder to think what would have happened. In short, disgraceful. my wife and myself have visited Oban on many occasions throughout the years. From static home parks outwith Oban to stunning apartments within the town. This last stay has put us off and we've decided to head elsewhere next year.

Convenient to all amenities and comfortable enough for our short stay.

The position, the fact of being very child friendly with high chair, plates, cutlery and a selection of toys.

− The garden area was very unkempt with rubbish from the nearby bins in the garden.

Spacious accommodation but disappointed with the quality.

Liked the location and the size of the rooms.

− Apart from the initial problem with the apartment not prepared for arrival (which was resolved effectively), the apartment is in need of some upgrading. The outside spaces are not well maintained which gave a poor initial impression and certainly doesn't reflect the impression given by advertising photos. Internally, doors and locks are in very poor condition. Provision of glasses was poor. No wine glasses.

Tolle Wohnung in Oban (einer schönen Stadt - entgegen mancher Unkenrufe)

Tolle, große Wohnung. Für 4 Personen perfekt, für 5-6 Personen sehr gut. Alles was man braucht, Spülmaschine,... Heizung heizt schnell auf. Zu Fuß ins Stadtzentrum ca. 6-8 Minuten. Tesco & Lidl auch gut zu erreichen (zu Fuß oder per Auto). Fährverbindung nach Mull/Iona.

− Eigentlich nichts.

Ottimo appoggio a Orban, con posto auto privato

Bellissimo e ampio appartamento situato appena fuori dal centro di Orban, raggiungibile comunque a piedi o in due minuti di auto. Due camere ampie, cucina attrezzata, bel salone e bagno con tutti gli essenziali. Comodo anche il posto auto interno riservato. Rapporto qualità-prezzo giusto

− Niente di negativo da segnalare.
