It was SOOO pretty with all the trees and the room villa thingies were made of wood; a dark oak-type wood, or atleast the inside of mine was and that was really pretty too. AC was blasting, like acc so cold that we had to turn it off which is amazing considering how hot it is in chitwan. Beautiful view of the lake too. And nice looking pool. Also, customer service and staff were great, funny and so flipping sweet, food’s great too, great proportions. Placement was great, like a 5 or something minute drive from the main place you go for all the tourist stuff (don’t take my word for that, I’m like terrible with time). Anyway, back to the rooms: beds were real comfortable, tall insides, nice ambience colour thing, colour scheme matched room feel too.

− Bugs? I dunno. Lots of trees tends to mean bugs, but you won’t find them inside the hotel rooms, at least I didn’t, which is great cause I hate bugs.

Eine kleine Oase

Das Hotel war mit Abstand das schönste auf unserer Nepal-Reise. Die Anlage ist traumhaft, sehr grün und verwinkelt, sodass man den Eindruck hat, fast allein zu sein. Der Pool ist groß, sauber und von Büschen und Blumen umgeben. Erholung garantiert! Die Hütten sind malerisch um den See verteilt. Schon früh kann man Kingfisher und andere Vögel vom Balkon beobachten. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und während unseres Aufenthalts sehr aufmerksam betreut. Der Eigentümer ist täglich vor Ort und kümmert sich um die Anliegen der Gäste. Wir haben alle Safaris mit einem hoteleigenen Fahrer unternommen. Jede Fahrt war außergewöhnlich und ein Erlebnis für sich. Fragt nach Ram. :) Das Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr gut und bietet eine große Auswahl. Gelegentlich werden kulturelle Abende auf dem Anwesen angeboten. Es fiel uns schwer, diesen zauberhaften Ort zu verlassen, aber wir kommen sicherlich wieder.

This was exactly what we needed after a 2 week trek in the mountains. We were able to completely relax and unwind due to the spacious luxury rooms, accommodating staff and the ability to lounge and cool off by the pool all day. The proximity to the game reserve made it easy to partake in a game drive. Even though we were in the secluded calm of the resort, access to the vibrant town was no more than a 10 minute drive away.

Excellent location and beautiful design. Looking out to the community forest over breakfast was a highlight. Saw lots of beautiful birds, jackal and peacocks from the comfort of the lodge style resort while sipping coffee. Service was brilliant and attentive. Mr Prakash the manager made sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable.

Wunderschöne Oase in der Natur

Die Anlage ist wunderschön mit viel Blumen und Grün und die Zimmer sind komfortabel und gemütlich. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich und der Pool sauber. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken groß. Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig und etwas außerhalb von Sauraha, was wir sehr genossen haben. In die Stadt und zum Nationalpark kann man für wenig Geld ein Taxi nehmen, das das Hotel bestellt. Beim Stromausfall ist sofort der Generator angesprungen, sodass wir die ganze Zeit Licht, warmes Wasser und eine Klimaanlage hatten. Das Hotel hat uns eine super Safari Tour organisiert. Wir haben den Aufenthalt rundum genossen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

A relatively new property in the traditional safari style. Beautiful well tended gardens. Flowers and singing birds all around. The main focus is Jeep safaris as an optional extra for a half or full day. Canoe safaris with a very knowledgeable ornithologist guide. Baby crocodiles in the river as well as rhinos. A peaceful float along the quiet of the river. Option to eat and drink in an a/c restaurant or under a fan on a beautiful terrace overlooking the Chitwan National Park
