We chose this place based on reviews which were very accurate, and we had a wonderful vacation.
10.0Mr Venkatesh Rajan was an excellent welcoming host. We went mostly for visiting Amboli waterfalls. However, in addition to that, he recommended that we visit other tourist attractions in and around Sawantwadi, and gave us detailed directions for the same. We had breakfast and dinner at the homestay and it was superb, cheap, and unlimited. It felt like we were his own guests. He recommended a superb place for local vegetarian lunch. He spent a good amount of time chatting with us over meals and made us feel at home. On the evening before our departure he even guided me to a reliable person from where to get my flat tyre fixed. The total cost of accomodation and food was very reasonable.

10.0Venkateshji is a kind,sincere,and gracious host. The staff are cheerful and competent.The cook makes tasty local dishes. The location is nice,quiet,rural;and also close to city facilities(~2km). The place is clean and pleasant. I had all my local transport arrangements taken care of, for which I am grateful. I also got to know about places to visit,some of them less known. A very nice (sarvodaya) stay,in sum.

10.0Mr. Venkatesh is an extremely wonderful person. He is more than just a host. He will take care of you and make sure that you have absolutely no issues during your stay at his place. The place is a comfortable little gem. This place exceeded our expectations.
