BEAUTIFUL place to gather with friends, lots of room and charming too
10.0This house was the perfect location to host the people from out of town, invite the people who live nearby, and have a great dinner party. The house is separated from neighbors in the center of a large lot on a hill, with lots of parking, so we didn't bother anyone. Even in a huge snowstorm, we had room for twenty to hang out, mingle, and move among three rooms that could each hold eight people comfortably. The hosts provided coffee, tea and condiments (a rarity in my experience) and good cooking utensils ... their knives, not a box of Target-ware purchased for guests. It was very much like being hosted in someone's house, rather than renting an austere rental that has never really been lived in and loved.
− It is on a hill, with a long driveway. If we weren't comfortable with snow, it might concern me. But the host showed up and said he would take care of it and I trust that he would -- but I was glad to find a snow shovel, and as I noted we are not afraid of a little snow. I am sure the house is even more spectacular in the summer, but it was cozy and FUN even in the worst of a storm.

10.0The Harvard House is truly a home away from home kind of place. We had a multi generational reunion and 95th Birthday gathering. It was perfect.
− The feeling of being home, unlike most Rentals--truly special. And, the setting in the woods-- lots of privacy.
