We hadden een leuk verblijf op een prachtige locatie! We werden goed ontvangen, hebben heel lekker gegeten en genoten van het mooie zwembad. Het is de ideale plek voor iemand die op zoek is naar absolute rust.

− We kozen deze plek om tot rust te komen met een 8 maanden oude baby. Rust is er zeker, maar als je dan even toch wat wil gaan doen, dan is een uitstap ver weg. De nabijgelegen dorpen zijn leeg overdag (had misschien ook te maken met de warmte).

Magical, authentic countryside farm filled with so much care and heart

Truly magical! This is a third-generation working farm (wheat, olives, almonds etc.) in the middle of the rolling hills of the Sicilian countryside, about an hour and a half from Palermo. The stay exceeded our expectations. Our room (the studio) was very large and the design was simple but felt very grand and true to history. The grounds are peaceful, with a gorgeous courtyard and beautifully kept gardens. The pool is exceptional, so relaxing to sit by and watch the wind turbines on the horizon. We ate at the Masseria one evening and it was brilliant - 30 euros per person for four courses of wonderful food, including pasta made with wheat from the farm, and they really kindly accommodated our pescatarianism. The whole stay felt well worth the (very reasonable) cost and we would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting a bit of time to wind down in an authentic, peaceful environment filled with heart. Emanuela, whose grandfather started the farm in the 1940s, was exceptionally hard working and kind. We felt very welcomed by her but were also able to enjoy the place without interference - we often felt like we had the whole place to ourselves without the fuss of a regular hotel. We feel so lucky to have stayed here.

− We had a few centipedes and ants in our room, which was not a problem for us (we just moved them outside/used the spray provided, and it only reflected the nature surrounding the place) but just something to be aware of if this would be a big issue for you. The place is still very clean. Breakfast (10 euros per person) was the classic Italian spread of packaged biscuits and cakes with jam and yoghurt in our room with croissants in the morning, this is very common in Italy and quite fun but just something to be aware of if you're not used to it and are expecting a continental breakfast with eggs etc. (although Emanuela was so kind and did actually gift us some eggs from her chickens!)

Mi son ritrovato lì per caso. Ero in moto e avevo appena finito la SS285 e ho prenotato questa struttura che è andata oltre le mie aspettative. Nel dettaglio ho adorato la pace, il silenzio e la bellezza del posto. La proprietaria è una persona squisita che da quella personalità al posto già di per sé bello. Raccomando assolutamente la cena all’interno del baglio con formaggi tipici e piatti squisiti. Sicuramente se dovessi tornare a rifare in moto queste strade, la sosta presso questa struttura sarà obbligatoria.

Peaceful place near Roccapalumba

The area and building is beautiful. The place is very quiet and peaceful. The stars are incredible at night. There was also a kitchen so I could make my own food. The roads were pretty quiet so not bad if you want to walk into town.

− Pool was being fixed and I happened to be there exactly when it couldn't be used.

We had a wonderful stay at Agriturismo Masseria Acque di Palermo in April. The property is absolutely stunning — a beautifully renovated old farm building full of charm, character, and peaceful surroundings. Our host was lovely and incredibly attentive throughout our stay, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The fresh eggs and homemade baked goods waiting for us were such a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated after travelling. Everything about the experience felt authentic, relaxing, and carefully curated with great attention to detail. We were so pleased to have discovered this special place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay in Sicily. We will definitely return!
