Enjoyable stay in spacious, well equipped accommodation
8.0Modern, spacious accommodation with clean lines and bright interior decor. Location very quiet and peaceful...with reference to a previous review mentioning the sound of crows throughout the day, this was not our experience. Occasional sound of birds but nothing unusual for the countryside and would not put us off returning. We found the bungalow to be very clean. Impressive fully equipped kitchen/diner complete with island so plenty of room for food prep. Both bathrooms also a good size, lovely shower in first bathroom. Our party had 2 cars, no problem with parking.
− Lacked personal touch, no guides on places of interest or opportunity for guests to leave recommendations for good pubs/restaurants in the local area. On our last day we found a brief accommodation guide hidden away on the top shelf of the coat rack...had no idea it was there. Suggest this is left on the hall table! A collection of leaflets/guides to browse through on the first day would be helpful for visitors new to the area. Toilet roll holder broken in first bathroom and hadn't been replaced, bathroom scales need new batteries. Could do with some shelving put up in the bathroom to store toiletries and toothbrushes etc.(got very cluttered around the sink)!
This is the second time. Very good place to stay if you have family nearby to visit.
