Would definitely stay here again
8.0Large flat, good decor throughout and very well equipped and also super close to o2 academy for a gig night.
− The light bulb was missing from the hall light
Bonito y acogedor. Muy bien ubicado
9.0La ubicación es perfecta y el apartamento es acogedor.
− Las escaleras para subir a las habitaciones son un poco peculiares.
Very pleasant. Good value for money.
8.0Location was perfect. 2 minutes walk from camden tube with lots of reasonably priced food places nearby. Location was clean and smelt clean. Beds were comfy.
Unsavory and disappointing
2.0It was located near an event I was attending.
− This is nothing personal towards the owner since we did not interact, but this place should not be listed on Booking.com or any site. It is basically a flop house from a horror movie. The windows are bolted shut so there is no ventilation in the room, which is unnaturally humid and reeks of Febreze to cover up God knows what other smells. There are scratches and stains all over the walls and carpet. There’s a single lightbulb hanging from the ceiling with no lampshade. The door to the bedroom is very insecure. An average sized person could kick it down easily, which made me feel quite uneasy. I have lived in the rougher parts of Brooklyn and Paris for almost 20 years and i’ve never felt this level of uneasiness regarding security. Regarding the shared bathroom, either I missed that on the posting or there was some sleight-of-hand regarding the post because I would never book a place with a shared bathroom - which was inconvenient and bordering on unsanitary. I tried to find another place to stay, but it was 1030 at night and I could not afford the last-minute prices. Be sure to bring earplugs and an eye mask because you’ll hear all the drunken shouting on the street overnight, and there’s no way to turn off the hallway light which blares through the cracks in the shoddy door. My stay passed without any major incident, other than waiting 30 minutes to use the bathroom in the morning, and I left as early as I possibly could. For what is offered, the price is outrageous - although I imagine it is perfect for rich kids. Looking forward to a night of binge drinking in Camden. I would not stay here for free, and would not recommend it to anyone.
