Amazing location on the best side of Oahu
7.0The location and setting of this studio are fantastic. Set up in the hills above North Shore, close to everything, in a peaceful and beautiful suburb. The garden is lovely, and the setting is perfect. The pool is a nice addition, though we didn’t use it - too many great beaches nearby. Check in was easy and the communication was great.
− Felt a little too intimate with the neighbouring apartment (could hear them in the bathroom etc). There was AC, but we were encouraged not to use it. I fully appreciate this, and in no way were we told ‘don’t use it’; TLDR we would have used it if we hadn’t been encouraged not too. The mornings are loud with birds and cars leaving and dogs barking, and sleeping with the windows open isn’t what we would have chosen. Seems to be a common compliant, with some earplugs left somewhat apologetically by the bed. The only other thing, picked up by some others, is that the interior could use a bit of updating. I still don’t understand how the shower handles work with each other :)

Not worth it.
1.0Location was a drive above the beach and ton area. There was no walking to town, just a 10-12 minute steep drive from a neighborhood. Once you get into town parking is a challenge. Not convenient.
− The room was hot, stuffy and uncomfortable. Seemed like a second story breezy loft overlooking a pool from the online photos. Not true. Not comfortable, nowhere to hang out. Unfriendly and aggressive dogs onsite. Room is attached to owners property. The most expensive and least comfortable places we booked on the island in our 2 week stay.

− The property is shared with the owners and their dogs. As someone who’s not too comfortable with dogs, having them run and jump when we got out the car was a bit scary.
