Peaceful location. Tucked away at the end of a quaint and charming valley. Nestled in the countryside, yet only a five minute gentle walk along the picturesque stream to the beach. Come home to a log burner, sleep in utter silence. Bliss. Rosie is an excellent host who will look after you very well indeed.

Fabulous location, the host, next door, went out of her way to be really helpful

− Fairly run down inside and out, quite dirty, cutlery and crockery put away dirty, smell everywhere not good, sticky surfaces etc. All the bedrooms have their own issues; the large room has immersion heater in, low hum, curtains let in light from dawn. Twin room, metal frame beds, creak on every turn. Upstairs bedroom in the eaves, in 3 sections divided by sets of steps, bedroom furniture is in the bathroom. Shower so poor as to be almost unusable up there though there’s a bath Living area is a good space but also fairly ramshackle in terms of furnishings, lighting etc. Kitchen is a good size but odd selection of very cheap cutlery, there’s no draining rack for washing up There’s a bit of outside seating, also shabby I think for the money- a lot for 3 nights- we could have done much better, to refurbish this building might probably not be worthwhile and the host is undoubtedly doing her best
