Being in komodo island was an unforgettable , unique experience. The home stay is very cozy and clean , the owner is a very nice person and organised everything for me - from the pick up to the airport to the three days tours around the island , with both snorkelling and trekking in amazing places. I appreciated a lot the delicious meals ( I ate together with the other home stay guests and made new friends !), the view from the terrace to drink a beer at night , and the guides that made everything to beat the peak, touristic time in most of the places I visited. Definitely recommend it if you want to do something off the beaten track and still be taken care of . I hope I will be able to come back !

− Nothing , everything was good . It’s maybe worth to know that the island is about 3 to 4 hours by boat from Labuan Bajo airport , so better to plan the flights from and to Flores accordingly ( the boats don’t travel in the dark or at night)

Alle waren sehr freundlich. Die Mahlzeiten waren super lecker. Wir waren sechs Tage mit dem Boot unterwegs, haben einige Komodo Warane gesehen. Auch Fressen und Liebe machen. Sehr zu empfehlen. Vor allem auch die organisierten Bootstouren. Danke Jahiding und Bahari.

− Die Treppe zum OG ist für ältere oder gehbehinderte nicht geeignet.

BEST HOMESTAY ON KOMODO!

I believe this homestay was the best house in Komodo Village. It backs up to the National Park and is set on a hill with incredible views. The house is new and clean and perfect for guests. The host was amazing and helped with everything from treks, guides, and travel. You can go to him for anything you are interested in doing. Be sure to chat with him beforehand so you can work everything out The meals were amazing and delicious, prepared by his beautiful family.

− The island has no ATM, so bring plenty of cash for the tours you want to do. You do not want to miss out on all that there is to do on Komodo Island.

Das Essen war hervorragend! Es wurde immer frisch nur für uns gekocht und reichlich aufgetischt, frischer gegrillter Fisch, Garnelen, Reis, Nudeln, sehr leckere Gemüsepuffer, French Toast, Nasi Goreng usw. 😍

− Das Wasser ist manchmal für einen kurzen Moment ausgefallen und da die Insel generell von sehr wenigen Menschen bewohnt wird/werden darf, muss man sich darauf einstellen, dass man abends bspw. Spiele mitbringen sollte. Außerdem sollte man einen Moskitoschutz bspw. ein Reisemoskitonetz mitbringen. 🙃

Review We had an absolutely fantastic time at this homestay on Komodo Island. We arranged our 3 night 2 day tours directly with the homestay and I cannot fault it. The communication was excellent both prior to and on the trip. We had amazing home cooked breakfasts lunches and dinners all included in the tour price. So much delicious food that we could not finish it all. If you want to see outstanding wildlife, beautiful islands and beaches, experience local life for longer this stay and the tours they can provide are a must. We really felt looked after and had one of the best experiences on our South East Asia trip. The real bonus is that our guide knew all the best places to snorkel so that we could see manta rays, turtles and baby sharks, while our host at the homestay took us on an early morning trek right from the accommodation so we could meet some dragons. We even saw one from our balcony. Staying on the island really gives the best opportunity to see Komodo dragons and enjoy the amazingly friendly locals.

Хозяйка кормила нас невероятно вкусно — как в лучших ресторанах🫶🏽😊 Тур, который они организовали для нас, — одно из лучших путешествий в нашей жизни, а мы много где уже успели побывать. Хозяин Джахидинг сам провёл нас на трекинг, и мы нашли четырёх варанов, сделали классные фото и видео. А ещё эти удивительные животные сами приходят к дому — их можно наблюдать с балкона ранним утром или ночью, и это просто восторг! Природа Комодо непередаваема. Манты, акулы, черепахи, дельфины, невероятные коралловые рифы — наш гид Ари и капитан Саржан сделали всё, чтобы мы прочувствовали каждый момент и увидели всех обитателей невероятного подводного мира. Мы очень рады, что познакомились с вами. Огромное спасибо за эти потрясающие дни — вы делаете своё дело с душой, и это чувствуется в каждой мелочи.
