Excellent apartment, beautiful view and very well presented. Close to the sea, shops and restaurants

The apartment is really well presented, clean and in a beautiful part of Corfu. The view from the balcony is superb and it’s only a five-minute walk to the beach. The air-conditioning throughout was a very welcomed. Vasiliki was lovely and communication was easy and quick. The apartment is well laid out, and the beds were very comfortable. It felt spacious and well maintained. I would definitely recommend the apartment. The apartment is situated down a VERY steep drive, which is fine if no-one in your party has any mobility issues. The beech is down 60 or so steps and a short walk to the local taverna, Nautilus Beech Snack Bar and Restaurant, situated on the beach front. The taverna is excellent, well worth booking a sun bed there, the food was also good, we’re vegetarian and there were options for us. When I booked the apartment the details on booking.com said there was a locally shared pool. This is not the case, there is no pool. There is a pay as you go pool at the taverna, more catered for little ones, I think it was €20 a day for access to the pool, but I’m not %100 sure as we didn’t use it. TBH the sea is so close and lovely, it was so clear and calm and felt very safe to swim there. Vasilika was a perfect host, she provided an extra key which we requested, and we were able to arrange a late leaving time. Thank you again Veslika.

− My only less than positive comments are that the washing machine is rather old and there weren’t any instructions on how to use it, I had to ask Vasiliki to come over and help, which she did almost straight away. A slightly more extensive welcome pack would have been appreciated. There were some bottles of water in the fridge, which was very appreciated, and some salt and pepper. The addition of some olive oil (we left a bottle of the next guests) would have been welcomed. There are two shops very close to the apartment which sell most things.

Worthy place to spend your vacation

Almost everything was fine and gave us the chance for a good longterm holiday! The appartment is equiped with all necessary things. It is very clean. Beds are comfortable. The view from the terrace is extremely satisfying! Defenetely will use again for another stay!

− We had problem with a rat that came to the terrace but thanks to the help of the housekeeper it was solved. Wish there were more dishes and glasses. The hangers in the bathroom are not enough. All these things cannot affect the great time one can spend on the beach of Barbati and to wake up every morning with the spectacular view from the terrace!

The home was lovely and made a great base to be able to see Corfu! We hope to return one day.

Sea view apartment and Mparmpati beach. Not for you if you like big crowds.

1) The location is in close proximity to the beach. In fact, I travelled quite a few times to Greece and I must say this was the best beach I experienced. Mind you, this is pebbles, not sand beach (but in time I found pebbles much to my liking). 2) I really loved Mparmpati Beach. The place where we stayed most was at Nautilus Beach in Mparmpati. Excellent hosts at Nautilus Cafe. 3) The apartment had an excellent sea view. It's not on the beachfront, but you still see the sea above other apartments in the front.

− The stay was too short. Please consider this place if you have or rent a car. Having a car gives you so much more flexibility to really enjoy Corfu.
