Beautiful setting, bathrooms disappointing

The cottage was really very sweet, the location was well situated and the additional access to the basement bedroom was great for our dad post knee operation

Their was no way to use hot water after 11pm. We were in town to take mum to Chatsworth (a celebration after shed been very unwell) and after an evening outdoor film screening there (an lots of hayfever and pollen) we were all unable to shower. We tried everything in the handbook and we all have hives of our own but nothing worked. Having set times for hot water is a bit ridiculous. Would also be great if it was expressed more clearly that 6 people upstairs must share a bathroom. An additional powder room where the kitchen table or fridge are would be better use of space All of our socks were also black after just 20 minutes in the building so a steam mop may be necessary... New pillows also wouldnt go a miss as all extremely lumpy

Really enjoyable, spacious cottage for our family get together.

The location was fantastic. Just a five minute walk into town. The ground floor bedroom is very good with an en-suite.

One bedroom was twin beds and there was only one bathroom between three couples upstairs. But that was because we had four couples in the house.

A gorgeous old cottage very close to town centre. Warm, clean, and inviting. There was a log burner, but we didn't need it as the place was so cosy. It had everything you would need for a Christmas break with friends, including Christmas trees and decorations, very tastefully done. Couldn't fault it. We would highly recommend this place whatever time of year you visit.

Nothing to dislike
