10.0Excellent quality kitchen facilities , furnishing , beds and linen ! Very plush ! Beautiful cottage within walking distance along the pretty , quaint estuary that could be seen from the bottom of the garden. Short walk to the pretty town, and easily found a 2 minute ferry across to stunning beaches, Mull Bay ! Surrounded by beautiful scenery , hills, views of bays and many sail boats ! Very narrow parking space , and roads to navigate on leaving to visit other ares but worth it !

10.0We felt right at home from the moment we walked through the door. Thimble Cottage is beautifully decorated, blending a cozy, traditional charm with modern comforts. Thimble Cottage is perfectly situated in the heart of Salcombe, just a short walk from the beautiful waterfront. It's tucked away, providing a peaceful retreat while still being within walking distance of all the action. We loved how easy it was to stroll down to the harbour and enjoy the stunning views. Plenty of shops, pubs, and restaurants are nearby, making it very convenient to explore the local area. The cottage was wonderfully quiet, with great blackout blinds, allowing us to enjoy a restful stay. The amenities, little bits, and bobs provided meant we had what we needed, including great kids books and toys to keep our 5 and 2-year-olds busy. I would stay again and recommend it to friends.
