A cheap below-satisfactory hotel
6.0Only the fact that it was very close to the cliff.
− There weren't enough services in the room, the washroom was very untidy , the room was not clean and well maintained. There was no room service. Only the price was less compared to other hotels near it but that doesn't mean the service will be this bad! It's just like a cheap hotel for labourers.

3.0We really liked the staff's behaviour during our stay. They were extremely friendly and helpful—suggesting places to visit, sharing contact numbers for activities like Varkala mangrove kayaking, and even recommending great local food spots. While checking out, they arranged an auto for us to the station, which was a thoughtful touch. We also received a discount on the room, which was much appreciated. The location of the stay was another big plus—just a short walk from the cliff and the beach, making it very convenient for us to explore the area.
− The stay was not worth the money. There was a serious lack of basic facilities and cleanliness. The room had only one charging socket, which was very inconvenient. The mug and bucket provided were dirty, and there was water leakage from the wash basin. There was no hot water available, and overall, the cleanliness of the space was very poor. Most of the basic amenities we usually expect from a stay were missing.
