Dawlish is a lovely little town and well worth a visit. We fell in love with it ..its a great base with great public transport to visit all the lovely places around nearby. Very friendly locals . This little gem of a find is an amazing place to stay . Ideally situated in an extremely quiet location and just a short walk into Dawlish. Sofa folds into a bed and is really comfy Everything you need is in the house...Linda is a great host and has provided all . As long as you know what to expect you will be fine...the house is very small and very little space when the bed is down. The weather contributed greatly to our experience Read previous reviews Overall a great stay and as long as you are prepared for what the house gives you , your stay will be amazing

− We stayed during the extreme hot weather and the house was extremely hot, even more so as so small with 2 people in it...we brought a fan which helped but be prepared if you stay in hot weather...bathroom only allows one person in at a time. I am a very light sleeper and the curtains are very thin so the house is very bright at sunrise...I had fortunately bought a sleep mask which helped...as I said its great if you are prepared . There really is no space / drawers for anything which we did know but had to live out the cases which for an overstay or two is fine ..but challenging for us as longer...we were there for 4 days and again the extreme weather contributed to having to get the cases out daily. All things that are ok as long as you are prepared

Looked nice, & garden was good

− Sofa bed-side by wall ,uncomfortable .Tipped down & spaces between cushions. No wardrobe space for clothes. No large kitchen knife & needed few plates for serving food,salads etc.

Complaining just saying little things mean a lot like dark curtians an mayb a bottle of water

Lovely sweet lil place never used the car once parked up walking distance to all pubs shops

− Curtains were like mosquito net sun woke us up. At 4.30 am. No room to use table to eat to small b better off with a small bistro table the bedsite cabinet was 3 blocks of wood painted white would of been nice to have. Alittle bedside table to put ur keys an bits in Stayed 3 nights lived out suitcase be cuz no where to put anything but was a lovely llittle break an the locals were so freindly ni

Kleines Häuschen mit toller Aussicht

Sehr gemütliches liebevoll eingerichtetes hübsches Häusschen, oben auf dem Hügel. Ruhig gelegen, perfekt zum Abschalten. Super Aussicht, gemütliches Bett, alles da was man braucht. Besonders schön fand ich die eigene kleine Terasse, wo man Abends den Tag ausklingen lassen konnte. Sehr hilfsbereite nette Inhaberin.

A very cute little house . Loved it. Everything you need and very comfortable for a couple of nights stay .location was very handy for all places 👍

− Very steep drive !. Only saying this as constructive criticism. But we think it could do with a very good deep clean . Under table and doorframes and walls . But we did love the stay shame we didn't get to meet you!
