− This hotel was a complete disappointment. The price was quite high for Vietnam — over 1.4 million VND , so I’m evaluating it based on the amount charged. For this price, the quality was extremely poor — even compared to what you can get in Europe for similar money. It’s clear that the photos on Booking show what the rooms looked like originally, not what they look like now — worn out, used, dirty, greasy, and no longer resembling the pictures. The room was very shabby. The towel was grey and stained. The duvet had no cover, and I highly doubt they wash it after every guest — it was already grey and looked unwashed. After one night under it, I woke up with red eyes. The bathroom was nothing like the pictures — it was tiny, with no proper shower cabin, just a wall-mounted shower head. The sink was very small, and the toilet barely flushed, which could lead to unpleasant situations. The hairdryer barely worked — it needs fixing or replacing. The table in the room looked like it was dragged in from outside — in fact, it was shown in their outdoor photos. It was covered in decades-old dirt, which we had to clean ourselves to avoid staining our belongings. The desk lamp was already mouldy or covered in fungus. The balcony had only two chairs, and the beautiful view of the cliff was blocked by black plastic curtains. No matter how hard I tried, I could barely move them — as shown in my pictures. If you’re hoping to get a good night’s sleep, you might not. We couldn’t fall asleep early because local guests in the courtyard were loudly watching TikToks without headphones and chatting until midnight. Then at 6 a.m., they were already awake, yelling at each other for hours. Unfortunately, many locals tend to speak very loudly, and since the room had no soundproofing at all, we were woken up and couldn’t fall back asleep. The pool, which looks great in the photos, was unusable. The water was murky, dirty, and full of bugs and floating debris.

Lovely family, cozy place!

The lovely young couple and their family are the best! They heard me coughing and made ginger tea without asking. Helped us booking a flight/bus, which took a lot of their time. We loved our stay in the new room and thus extended our stay. Gave our laundry in the evening and it was already finished in the early morning. Accidently broke their chair and they didn’t accept money for it. It’s a cozy place which made us feel very much home due to the lovely people. Their dog ‘beer’ is adorable as well.
