− Beware: Unjustified Deposit Withholding We stayed at “Myflats Luxury Ocean Side” in Alicante and paid a €200 deposit. Upon departure, the host refused to return our deposit, citing that the apartment was not cleaned. However, the rental agreement did not specify any obligation for guests to perform cleaning upon checkout. We left the property without causing any damage, which we can substantiate with video evidence. Charging such a substantial amount for standard cleaning, which is typically included in the service, is unreasonable. Future guests should be cautious and clarify all terms beforehand.

− Uncomfortable rest furniture. Hard beds. Missing regular coffee machine and toaster.Dishwasher not working on arrival. The new one was installed after 3 days, with the added inconvenience. A lot of noise from the road.

Please note that late check-in carries the following extra charges: A surcharge of EUR 30 applies for arrivals between 20:00 and 22:00, and EUR 50 between 22:00 and 00:00. All requests for late arrival are subject to confirmation by the property and to be paid by cash on arrival.
