Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich schön. Etwas abseits am Berg hat man viel Natur und Ruhe um sich herum, sowie eine wunderbare Aussicht auf Berge und Meer. Während unseres Aufenthaltes ereignete sich ein Problem an der örtlichen Wasserversorgung, was dazu führte, dass wir keine Frischwasserversorgung während unseres Aufenthalts hatten. Als wir das Problem bemerkten, kontaktieren wir den Ansprechpartner Kevin, der sehr schnell und höchst professionell reagierte. Wir bekamen stets Updates zur aktuellen Situation. Durch die sehr gute Kommunikation und Transparenz seinerseits, fühlten wir uns informiert, gewertschätzt und bestens betreut. Auch die Personen vor Ort, die uns eine Behelfslösung bereitstellten, waren sehr freundlich, angenehm und respektvoll. Natürlich wünscht man sich so eine Situation im Urlaub nicht, aber da das Problem mit der Wasserversorgung nur gemeinsam mit der örtlichen Gemeinde gelöst werden kann, hat das Team alles getan, um schnell und pragmatisch eine best mögliche Lösung für uns zu finden. Ebenso wurden unsere extra Wünsche vorab (zwei Einzelbettdecken statt eine Doppelbettdecke) erfüllt. Einen besseren Support haben wir noch nie erlebt!

The views were amazing and lovely house

− Not easy to find at all satnav took us 12 km away. Condensation every morning. A dehumidifier would be good. No dishwasher.

Great place, but for the right season

1) Great property, very clean, good interior, convenient parking, amazing view if it’s not too cloudy. 2) Property owner is very responsive and helpful

− Couple of things we didn’t realize we that could be helpful, and they are probably only applicable if it you travel during winter time: 1) Humidity level is very high, it was very difficult to dry our cloth, even with a heater and dehumidifier in 2) there is no central AC, so it was a bit cold even with 2 external heaters compared to what we used to in the US (might be normal for Madeira) 3) again it was off season, so benefits of being on top of a mountain are limited (no view due to clouds, more rain, can’t really use the beautiful terrace), but all the downsides were there (+15-20 minutes to drive to the destination, colder, etc)

Außergewöhnliche Lage, modernes Haus, spektakulärer Blick.

Die Lage ist aussergewöhnlich mit Blick auf Berkuppen und das Tal sowie das Dorf und auch ein Hauch vom Meer. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, viele Fenster. Küche gut nutzbar. Waschmaschine schön. Großer Supermarkt nahbei. Nette Gastgeber mit Tips zur Umgebung und Restaurantempfehlungen. Viele Wanderwege in Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.

− Es fehlt ein Tisch drinnen, an dem man essen und evtl. auch etwas mit dem Laptop arbeiten kann. Die Barhocker am Küchenrand sind nicht der Bringer. Die Außenmöblierung könnte wertiger sein. Aktuell (November 2025) wird ab 7 Uhr 30 nebenan ein Haus gebaut.

More than you expect.

The view is more beautiful than pictures. The Villa is equipped with everything you need, you only need to bring your food ingredients. The host provided a very easy chick- in process. And all the advices you need. The area is safe and quiet.

− Would have loved if at least one of the glass doors had bugs door screen, so that we can ventilate the place and enjoy the cool breeze without worrying about the bugs.
