Lovely property in the countryside with kind owners, a beautiful peacock and an amazing view! The house is very complete and has a roof terrace that looks out over the island and ocean.

− We had bad luck with the weather, which made for a damp situation. But this would have been the case anywhere on the island. The road that leads towards the house is a bit narrow and bumpy, but you get used to that.

A great location and a spacious house; however, a bad road and weekend noise.

The house is situated right next to another large villa, and they share the same garden. Overall, I loved the cozy and comfortable atmosphere of the house. Its location was excellent, and the view of nature from the roof was truly wonderful. The kitchen was well-equipped and largely met our needs throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious enough, with plenty of space for personal belongings. The shower had good water pressure, and the hot water supply was sufficient.

− First of all, this is a very humid island; you need to open the windows for airflow, but there are no insect screens, meaning you have to deal with swarms of bugs every time you open them. Secondly, to reach the house, you have to drive about 200 meters along a very narrow, muddy, and rough road flanked by high walls. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you are a skilled driver or have comprehensive rental car insurance. Even at speeds of just 10–12 km/h, every pothole causes the car to lurch from one wall to the other. Finally, the biggest issue for us was the noise over the weekend: we had chosen this place specifically because it was away from noisy areas, yet on Friday and Saturday nights, there was excessively loud and disturbing noise—likely from a hotel show or entertainment event—that lasted well past midnight. This completely ruined our sleep. I realize the host isn't directly responsible for some of these issues, but it is worth knowing about them if you are sensitive to such things. Overall, while the accommodation itself wasn't bad, the experience wasn't as peaceful as it should have been.
