Apartamento sobre a praia♡

Disappointing, disgusting and would never stay there again.

The location was fantastic. Right on the beach.

− The apartment was dirty on arrival, there was hair from the previous people on the floor. The bathroom is disgusting, it was dirty and smelly, the towels smelt of damp, the shower door was broken, the toilet was dirty. The kitchen fridge smelt of fishy uncleanliness the fridge shelf’s need a good clean as they are dirty, the cups in the cupboard were dirty. There were weird insects in the pot cupboard. The sofa beds in the lounge area that were for sleeping on were hard and dirty. The blinds in the lounge are all stained. The pillows in the lounge stink of unclean sweat. The clothes dryer on the balcony is broken, the peg basket is broken, there is not enough pegs. The blinds in the bedroom are all paint and look disgusting, there is cobwebs in the bedroom, the bed is rock hard and not comfortable, the floor was dusty in the bedroom, there is a plug socket hanging off the wall, the light fighting is not secure in the bedroom, 1 of the windows in the bedroom doesn’t lock not very secure, there is no safe. The walls in the bedroom are dirty, the lampshade is full of bugs and dust in the bedroom, the pillows were disgusting brown stained and stinking. The light in the bathroom has so much dust on it. The air conditioning doesn’t work at all. The communal areas are a disgrace, the stairs on the way up to the pool area are dirty and moldy, there is rubbish lying around, the pool area has broken tiles, dirty loungers, there is gag ends lying around the shower at the pool is so dirty and disgusting. There is no toilet up there which isn’t ideal. The whole pool area needs a refurb. The photos on booking.com are nothing like the reality we were very disappointed, we save up all year to have a holiday in Olhos de auga as we come yearly and this was the worst apartment I’ve ever stayed in. The owner when I complained did give us clean towels and new pillows and a clean ironing board, I spent my first day of my holiday shopping for cleaning products and I cleaned it all.

Relaxing holiday

The location is perfect! Right on the beach, walking distance from two very nice restaurants. Very clean and relaxing swimming-pool with a nice view. The owner is a very attentive person.

− The couch in the living room transforms into 2 individual beds instead of a double bed. For family with kids it would work better than for couples. Also, it’s old and it looked a bit dirty, in need of replacement.
