Lovely cottage with stunning views over the river and the sheep-filled pasture beyondm a truly idyllic setting. There was plenty of space for three adults and one child, making it very comfortable for our stay. The location is also great, right in the heart of Snowdonia, so everything was a short drive away. The cottage has a Bosch coffee machine that uses Tassimo pods, so it's worth picking some up before you travel. That said, Brogan kindly left us some pods, milk, and even a bottle of Prosecco as a welcome gift, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch.

The cottage is cute. Has everything we needed. Stayed during the heatwave and was lovely and cool. Very command central to get around. Fabulous views. Great parking.

− Nothing really. Just a suggestion, Maybe could have some outside seating in the front.

Not as good as the photos show

The location of the property was ideal. The sofa and beds were comfortable.

− There is an old musty damp smell in the kitchen/dinning room and in the living room. Only disappears when the heating is left on which is not ideal in the summer months. I know this cottage is old but that no excuse especially when you are paying near a grand for a weeks holiday. The cooking equipment and utensils are very limited with many of them broken or old and stained. Plug sockets on the wall move and have holes around them. The double glazed units need replacing as the glass panels have blown so they are misty with water in them obscuring your view over onto the river. The fuse box is all open with wires and is not in a secure box. There is no rubber bath mat for the shower so it's extremely slippery whilst taken a shower. Lots of black mould around the bath. The sun terrace that is mentioned is non existant it is an over grown area of weeds with a derelict chair . There is no garden furniture. There is no rear garden The shower is ok but not great. The bedlinen was ok but I'm not a fan of having brushed cotton bedlinen on the bed during the warmer months. Ther is only one mirror in the bathroom and a mirror on the floor on the landing, so you have to sit on the floor to use it. This property is meant for 6 people, it is more suitable for 4 people. There are no games or books to use if the weather turns bad especially if you have children. The laundry room is a dumping ground. Two of the bedrooms the bed is pushed up right against the heater so you can't use it. Also your keys for collection are in a battery operated key look, not ideal when the battery runs low or out.

The house was lovely. Great location too. The welcome gift was a hit and the cottage was really clean. We really enjoyed our stay

− Beds were a bit too soft for us but thats just personal preference. Another seat in the front room wld be good - with full occupancy and teenagers too we needed to bring a dining chair in or really squidge on the sofa which wasn't ideal.
