A very pleasant stay in this villa

The location of the villa is excellent, making it very convenient to get to supermarkets and restaurants. The layout of the rooms inside the villa is very good; each bedroom is equipped with its own bathroom, and there are also two kitchens. The host was very welcoming. When we first checked in, they provided us with homegrown fruits, vegetables, and meats, and when we left, they even gave us small gifts.

− The bathroom is currently ventilated through a half-open window; it would be better to have a dedicated exhaust fan.

Do not stay anywhere else! 20 min to Sorrento and 30 min to Positano. Great central location!

Our stay at this villa in Massa Lubrense was, without a doubt, the highlight of our trip to Italy. Out of the five places we stayed, this was by far our favorite. Alessandra and Donato were the most wonderful hosts. They were always available if we needed anything and made us feel like family. By the end of our stay, we truly felt like we had made new friends. When we arrived, they welcomed us with an incredible spread of fresh food from their garden, delicious salamis, homemade wine, and other local specialties. It was such a warm and authentic introduction to Italian hospitality. The property itself is beautiful and has the true feel of Italian country life. We loved meeting their horse, Fedro, and feeding him fruit, the kids (and adults) absolutely adored their sweet cats, Mia and Mici. Those little touches made our stay even more special. There are two kitchens, 4 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms and 4 additional pull out couches. There was plenty of room for our group of 11. We could’ve easily fit 5 more people. Just a short walk away is the town center, which comes alive in the evenings with locals enjoying restaurants, gelato shops, and charming little stores. It gave us a chance to experience the real Italy rather than just the tourist destinations. We truly cannot say enough good things about Alessandra, Donato, and this incredible villa. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience with amazing hosts who genuinely care about their guests, this is the place to stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic property in the Sorrento area with gracious hosts and easy access to restaurants and grocery stores.

Absolutely gorgeous house with a beautiful view of the ocean and Mt Vesuvius. Plentiful outdoor spaces for hanging out and sitting in the sun. Lots of space, bathrooms, and bedrooms for a large group. Restaurants, grocery stores, and bars are all within easy walking distance. The hosts, Donato and Alessandra, were lovely. We were welcomed with a table full of meats, cheeses, fruit, and snacks as well as two bottles of wine. Donato helped us arrange horseback riding in the area. We also really enjoyed the cat, Mici, who was very friendly and followed us everywhere, as well as Fedro, the horse, who we gave carrots to each morning. We recommend Bar Orlando in Massa Lubrense as well. We would definitely return to Villa Iaccarino in the future, and would plan to stay longer.

The property had everything that you would need for your stay which made things easy for us and also there’s loads of shops within a couple of minutes walk with different things and foods from which we did our grocery shopping with so we never had to get out of our way for anything. The host donato made our stay very comfortable and gave us lots of advice on places to go and transport which helped us a lot. He was so friendly and was always there when we needed him, the hospitality and kindness from him was what made it all the 5 stars it deserves.
