Fabulous Short Break Bolt Hole

9.0

A really great bolt hole in a superb location for getting round Looe on foot. Modern decor and very clean and all the bits and pieces you might need including cooking utensils, washing up items, body wash and ironing facilities. Fab for a short break.

The space was quite dark already so with the very dark and black furnishings it felt like you always needed lights on. There also needs to be better airing facilities especially in the bathroom. This had no windows so appreciate there's probably no simple solution, but it remained wet in there all day and the place in general a bit damp.

Attention to Detail makes a stay stress free.

6.0

Comfy beds, plenty of room, swivel chairs at the kitchen worktop is good for a computer, nice big fridge.

Scaffolding all around the building. Can't be helped but it did make finding the place quite difficult. No curtains on the windows on the second floor. No shower mat: using soap, the plastic floor nearly had me in Plymouth General. No oven gloves, had to use a towel, no bottle opener, used teeth. Need a PHD to work out the radiators. Manuals for all appliances would be useful, save time, not all appliances are the same. Bathroom sink looks nice, but not fit for purpose. Single bed is actually a sofa bed type. No freezer in fridge if you are self catering. No actual luggage facility.

Pleasant little apartment in a brilliant location

7.0

Nice modern facilities, lovely and clean. Brilliant location with it being a very short walk to the beach, coast path, town. We parked at the harbour car park, just a five minute walk. £16.50 for 24 hrs which was fine for us as we were only there one night. Really well equipped kitchen and lovely comfy sofa.

We really struggled to find it, walked past a few times! I think it would be useful to update the property details on booking confirmation to include what3words reference. It would be good to have some typed up instructions for how to use the radiators, they are much more modern than the ones in our old house! The property was really quite chilly when we arrived and it took us a while to get to grips with the heating. The double bed was comfy but my 14 year old found the fold up bed a struggle to get comfortable. The lack of parking wasn’t an issue for us as we just had a couple of rucksacks but if we were staying longer and had more luggage, it could have been a bit of a problem.
