10.0It's a cute little get away in the middle of the gorge with a unique set up of cabins and outdoor facilities. Love how each cabin had its own privacy and the gardens are well maintained and beautiful.

10.0Rakai hospitality succeeded our expectations. She was very accommodating and welcoming. I loved the Lemon cabin. The shower was amazing. Loved that nature was at our door. Very comfortable beds. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend.

10.0I made a booking with starry nights to break up a long road trip. They were very accomodating with my short notice request and I am very glad to have discovered them! The grounds are beautiful with amazing views across the waikono valleys. The cabins are nestled amongst the gardens surrounding the house with easy access, but are all very private in their own right. There is tremendous artistic creativity oozing from property which has clearly seen a lot of love and attention. The location is very peaceful and the cabins well appointed with everything one needs for a stay - and I was impressed with the variety of books that were available for a “casual read” and wished I had more time to relax and read whilst I stayed - so I defiantly plan to return for a longer stay to enjoy the creativity and tranquility that Starry nights cabin fever offers. It would be easy to overlook waikono as a stay option with waihi just up the road but do give this place a try - you will not be disappointed!! A very big thank you to Rakai my host. Arrival directions and instructions were very clear and made made for stress free check in process!
