La struttura è in ottime condizioni, recentemente ristrutturata quindi tutto praticamente nuovo. É attrezzata più che bene, non manca nulla. Il clima è fantastico.

− Purtroppo non è stato quello che mi aspettavo e che avevo letto nella descrizione. Io per lavoro vedo e parlo con persone in continuazione; in vacanza desidero la solitudine, la massima tranquillità, libertà e privacy. Non cerco amicizie né dialogo con chiunque. La descrizione su Booking parla chiaramente di totale privacy e soprattutto di uso esclusivo di tutta la proprietà. Ma così non è! Gli Host, vivono nello stesso edificio, quindi la Loro presenza nello spazio esterno è costante. Addio privacy, addio uso esclusivo, ritengo opportuno specificare in descrizione. Nel giardino erano sempre parcheggiate le loro due auto ed un furgone, quindi sono stato 13 giorni con la mia auto davanti al patio come panorama e costretto a diverse manovre per entrare ed uscire. Ma non solo questo, la presenza degli Host e del loro cane era continua. Vivono lì…. Sono persone squisite, adorabili e cortesi, ma io cercavo la tranquillità e, ripeto, la privacy che non c’era. Ad iniziare dal mattino presto con la pulizia della piscina, che comunque poi rifacevo io diverse volte durante il giorno, oppure erano presenti per stendere, spazzare, annaffiare e comunque con la loro estrema cortesia sempre presenti. Sono oltre sei anni che una quindicina di giorni l’anno prendiamo case del genere su Booking. Requisiti richiesti sempre gli stessi, spazio esterno recintato completamente ed uso esclusivo con massima privacy, in passato è capitato di non aver neanche incontrato gli Host. Insomma se cercate un Host che vi accudisca va bene ma se cercate privacy ed uso esclusivo non va assolutamente bene. In conclusione, carissimi Nadia e Jeff, Vi ringrazio per la Vostra cortesia ma, sinceramente, se avessi saputo, avrei scelto un’altra location, non per Voi ma per la mia esigenza di tranquillità e privacy

Fantastic beautiful place. Peaceful, relaxing. If you need a getaway location - this is it! Nadia and Jeff are extremely friendly and helpful.

La dolce vita in beautiful landscape

If you are looking for a lovingly furnished, friendly vacation home with 2 terraces, garden area and pool in beautiful landscape "Casa vacanze al fontanile" is the place to spend your relaxing vacation. In south of Tuscany a bit up in the mountains the hosts Nadia and Jeff ensure you have a wonderful time on their premises and privacy away from overcrowded tourist locations. Famous places and cities like Siena, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza are just 40 minutes - 1.5 hours car ride away. We spent our honeymoon at "Casa vacanze al fontanile" with a mix of various activities like hiking with beautiful views, city tours, Vespa cruises and wine tasting. Even just driving through the landscape gives you the feeling of "La dolce vita". After returning to the house in the afternoon/evening we enjoyed the refreshing pool and the upper terrace with delicious antipasti, pizza or self cooked pasta until sunset. Jeff and Nadia are great hosts, assisting with all kind of recommendations, restaurant reservations and local products. We felt very welcomed (also from their lovely dog Queen) and a bit like visiting friends, although we have seen each other for the first time. Also the communication beforehand was very responsive, friendly and helpful. I'm sure we will visit them again at some point ;-) All the best, Heiner & Stefanie.

− You need a car or some kind of transport option to come around in this area. But since we've chosen south of Tuscany to drive around anyway that wasn't an issue for us :-)
