10.0Beautiful family ran property with beautiful views of the mountains. The host, Desta, is very welcoming and a wonderful guide for our Lalibela churches tour. The meals were very delicious (prepared by Desta’s wife) and they just went above and beyond for all our needs. Chateau was also very helpful. Very nice family.

9.0Our trip was a last-minute decision, but Desta arranged everything for us perfectly and made the entire experience smooth and memorable. From airport pickup, traditional meals and coffee experiences, a well-organized sightseeing itinerary for 3 days and 2 nights, all the way until our departure, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. We are truly grateful for the assistance of Desta and his amazing team, who made our trip to Lalibela heartfelt and unforgettable. Our guide and driver, both named Tadesse, were incredibly warm, kind, and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask, and they always tried their best to accommodate our needs and make sure we had a wonderful experience. The hospitality, care, and personal attention we received made this trip truly special.
− We usually prefer to have darkened curtains in the room, but since we needed to wake up early to visit the sites, it did not bother us much during our stay.

10.0Everything!!! In 8 weeks travelling through African countries this has been the best stay! Incredible views, hot water with great pressure, beautiful bed sheets towels, spotless clean, amazing food everyday, super safe, incredible communication and assistance all the time. I instantly changed plans and booked longer.
