− Langt unna alt, dårlig kommunikasjon med hotell etter vi avbestilt vår 3 siste netter, ikke fått pengene refundert. I tillegg til at på den ene natta vi hadde på hotell det ble ett veldig uvær og det begynte å komme vann gjennom tak på helle rommet vårt.

This place offers a truly exceptional balance between luxury, nature immersion, and a deeply integrated wellness experience. Located in the jungle of Bacalar, the resort feels both intimate and exclusive. Every detail is thoughtfully curated: minimalist-bohemian design, elegant rooms, calmness, comfort and a constant feeling of space and serenity. From the moment of arrival, the experience is elevated, with a warm welcome and a full tour of the property, including a meaningful connection to Mayan culture, as artifacts have even been discovered on site.r The service is outstanding: attentive, genuine, and highly responsive. The team anticipates needs effortlessly, and communication via WhatsApp is seamless and efficient, enhancing the overall experience. The food is of high quality, beautifully presented, and aligned with the wellness philosophy. The yoga and wellness/massage offerings feel authentic and grounded. There is access to the Bacalar Lagoon just a few minutes away by bike (provided), including a beautiful private beach club. This is not a hotel for active tourism, but rather a destination to slow down, reset, and reconnect. Ideal for retreats, private events, or intentional stays. Only downside: not staying longer. I highly recommend booking several nights, ideally a week, to fully experience what this place has to offer. Deep gratitude to Aida, David and the entire Kokoro Mio team!

Le lieu est magnifique, au milieu de la jungle et le style de l'hôtel est incroyable. Restaurant de qualité. Le lagune club incroyable

− Piscine extérieure pas très propre Idem pour notre piscine privée qui n'était pas nettoyé quand nous sommes arrivés (feuilles) et peu profonde (pataugeoire). C'était un de nos critères favoris donc un peu déçus de ce coté là. Le petit dejeuner etait un peu Light mais bon L'accès à la lagune est à 15min à pieds, pas d'accès direct mais par contre le lieu est magnifique.

Okay für 1-2 Nächte, nicht mehr. Anlage wunderschön, aber Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht.

Sehr schöne Anlage mitten in der Natur, alle sehr freundlich.

− Der Service ist extrem langsam, obwohl es kaum Gäste hatte. Man braucht sehr viel Geduld. Zudem ist man auf ein Auto oder Taxis angewiesen, da sehr abgelegen. Daher reichen 1-2 Nächte in dem Hotel aus. Das Frühstück ist extrem spärlich (Toast, Kaffee, Joghurt) für den Übernachtungspreis und die Kategorie, für die sich das Hotel ausgibt.

It’s good generally - but nothing extraordinary

It’s neat. Looks like a lot of thought went into it when it was constructed. The cottages themselves are cute. The yoga space is beautiful. The food à la carte was good. The drinks were good too. The staff is really great and chill. Very friendly and accommodating. The access to lagoon is good and it’s a short walk.

− The bikes are rusty and don’t work well. There are not enough for everyone. The art space and shrine are not super useful amenity spaces. The restaurant is very dark. The pool is shallow and not impressive. The included breakfast is kind of a joke. We ended up paying for additional choices.
