Really good location for getting into town. Had a park (not huge but seen worse, suitable for 4-7year olds) couple goats down the bottom which the kids loved. Had a communal outdoor seating area with equipment for BBQ and open fire (obv bring your own food and wood and utensils). Communal Pool and hot tub kept kids entertained. Not big but not absolutely tiny. We stayed in the Mountain view lodge, family of 5, kids aged 5, 6 and 8. Lodge felt clean and enough space for us. Wish it had a washing machine though (we stayed for 5 days). Utensils pots and pans and glassware provided.. but wish they had basic cooking bits like oil, salt and pepper and kitchen roll. Free 1 hour use at a spa is included which I didn't know during booking and wish we could have utilised but we didn't since we had 3 kids with us. Had an outdoor hose so we could clean paddle boards and wetsuits easily which was good!

− The WiFi was useless on site. The TV in the lodge did not work for things like YouTube. It's not a smart telly so couldn't cast device from our phones on netflix either. Nothing would load on it.. could watch SOME Freeview channels without it losing signal but mostly just didn't work. Wasn't a HUGE issue for us as we were never really In the lodge. Was more on the late evening when trying to get kids to chill and watch a film together before bed and we couldnt do that so had to let them sit on their iPads to chill... We never tried to call the host to resolve it though as each time we were only bothered when it was 9-10pm at night which I didn't want to disturb them... Although it doesn't stipulate they are available 24/7. The view from our balcony was just a big hedge... Wish it was chopped down so we could see the kids In the park or field playing football when we were in the lodge. Also if it was chopped would have given a better view for eating outside on.

The location was great. Touches like the dishwasher tabs, toilet roll were helpful.

− It hadn't been cleaned properly, we found other people's items and lots of dirt and dust under the settee. There was no bucket and hoover in th wardrobe making it smell. The patio door was very very difficult to lock. One of the seat cushions was broken on the chair. The outside area was very untidy, and lacking some TLC.

− The to didn’t work but wasn’t a problem as WiFi was good so used laptop.
