− Small and uncomfortable bed, both showers had very little pressure and the main bathroom the water was so hot you couldn’t use it. Limited utensils to cook with. No coffee pods for the coffee machine. Used to better. Cleanliness of the property not great

House was super clean. Easy to find. Safe and secure. Great view. Easy parking for 2 cars. Bed set up was excellent. single beds were very soft but thats a personal preference. Restaurant walking distance away - great for a quick bite.

− It was super hot weather and there were only fans (no a/c) - the bedrooms were pretty hot at night. Temperature control on the showers were broken - so it was either boiling hot or freezing cold - had to do a bath for the kids.

Overall we had a relaxing 3 night stay & made the most of the lodge facilities and beautiful weather

Beautiful quiet location by the marina . Car required , handy for the airport & Windsor. The lodge was very spacious & clean inside. Plenty of white fluffy towels & well equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer.

− Externally - The patio furniture was very comfortable. However the windows , decking & balustrade were in need of a good clean, as was the BBQ, clearly this area had not been cleaned after the previous guests departure.As we were there for 4 very hot days we used the outdoor area all the time. Kitchen - Boiled water tap did not work but a kettle was provided. Main bathroom - main shower head didn’t work & the water temp was irregular with the main adjustment very stiff to turn. Bedrooms 2 & 3 ( lack of mirrors to dry hair , had to share main bedroom mirror with daughter. Ideally there needs to be a plug socket near a mirror. The extension lead on the lodge hairdryer doesn’t reach the wardrobe mirrors. Whilst these issues were reported the BBQ was cleaned by a member of the maintenance team, however the dust, cobwebs & balustrade were not. I would suggest that the neglected plants are removed as they have been used as ashtrays by previous guests and in need of water! Plastic plants pushed behind other plants are not ideal in such a beautiful location. Whilst these issues are minor and need to be put right , they let the property down, therefore not deserving 5 stars , as advertised. We paid £2316 plus extra £45 for early check in at 11 am.
