The flat is on the first floor of block next to the Tourist Office in the centre of the village and very convenient for nearby shop. There is a restaurent on the G/F of the block but this was closed until December when we were there in August. Easy stopping outside the block for unloading and nearby free large parking place further down the road few minutes walk away. The flat balcony has a wonderful clear view of the mountains with the Eggishorn directly opposite and can see the sunset down the Rone valley. Flat was neat and reasonably well provided with necessary utensils. Note beds are two x 2 singles, not with 1 double as informed.

− Needs more lids for the cooking pans, extractor fan switches for cooking hood and bathroom rather erratic, light over sink not working. Should include instructions of how to deal with rubbish, but the management agents office were in the next building nearby and could ask them.

Nice, clean, fully equipped, stunning view from the balcony, shop and a restaurant near by, good tracking paths arround.

− Accomodation is too high in the mountains, too narrow road, I was scared to drive there.

Love the village but it is somewhat deserted except for a local supermarket.

it is an apartment in the middle of Bellwald, which is an extraordinary beautiful village. very old wooden houses, a lot of them being renovated into comfortable homes without loosing the exterior old beauty. Loved the balcony that has an uninterrupted view over the Rhône valley in Wallis.

− The apartment is outdated but equipment works, except for the WiFi! It has 2 bedrooms with good beds, a room with sitting area, dinner table and open small kitchen. Please note that there is only 1 restaurant left in the village, the bars and restaurants have moved to a higher area where the lift starts.
