5.0The apartment itself is very good — it is spacious, well equipped with all necessary appliances and utensils, and the location is excellent. The person responsible for check-in and guest assistance was also very friendly, helpful and responsive throughout the stay.
− However, the biggest issue was the condition of the bedding, which was clearly below acceptable hygiene standards. The mattresses were old, heavily worn and had visible stains, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. The beds were prepared with only a sheet and without any protective cover, which is not appropriate given the condition of the mattresses. The pillows also had visible stains and were not in acceptable condition. In addition, the bedrooms had a strong smell of dust mites, which had a direct impact on health and required asthma medication during the stay. Due to these conditions, we were forced to leave one day earlier, as it was not possible to continue the stay comfortably. It is also important to note that the host did not address the issue of the degraded mattresses and refused to provide any compensation for the unused night. This is particularly concerning as there are already similar comments on Booking and Airbnb from over a year ago mentioning the same issue, suggesting that no action has been taken to resolve it. It’s a shame, because the apartment has great potential, but the lack of proper bed hygiene and maintenance of the bedding significantly affected the overall experience.
