10.0De rust en de gastvrijheid van gans de familie en het team. En ook de huisdieren en dan vooral de rosse poes 😍 die vaak op bezoek kwamen. Ook genoten van het mooie zwembad met het warme weer. De moestuin met heel lekkere tomaten en andere lekkernijen zorgen ook voor heerlijke gerechten op tafel als je zelf wil koken. Wil je nog pasta leren maken, kan ook, maar wel op tijd boeken 😉
− Niets wat ons betreft. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug naar dit kleine paradijs waar je je direct thuis voelt.

It was, without question, the highlight of our entire trip. From the moment we stepped foot on the property, the owner welcomed us like family, inviting us to an unforgettable aperitivo as the sun dipped behind the rolling hills of Umbria. The setting, nestled beside a working olive grove, was pure magic. We were gifted a bottle of their exceptional organic olive oil, and the tour of the olive oil production process felt like stepping back in time. The kitchen was stocked with every authentic ingredient we needed to create our own Italian feasts, making it feel as if we were living the dream of a true Italian countryside retreat. The views were nothing short of breathtaking—from every window, terrace, and especially from the serene pool, which overlooked endless horizons. The owner’s impeccable recommendations for nearby villages and incredible local restaurants ensured that every day was a new adventure, all made effortless by her constant support through WhatsApp. Fontanaro is not just a stay; it’s an experience—a sanctuary of Italian elegance, tradition, and beauty. It’s a place where the heart of Italy comes alive, where every moment feels like a gift, and we can’t wait to return to its embrace.

10.0We had an absolutely amazing stay this summer! The location is beautiful, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the hosts are incredibly friendly. One of the highlights was spending time with Chico the cat and the two lovely dogs – they truly made our stay special! The room was cozy and comfortable, and the surroundings were perfect for relaxation. We immediately felt at home, and we can't wait to come back. A perfect spot for anyone looking for peace and charm. We will definitely return!

10.0Absolutely stunning property in a beautiful location . The owner Lucia and her family were really friendly and all the staff very kind and attentive . Everywhere was clean and well -maintained. Over the years we have stayed in many properties across Italy this was simply the very best!
