Location is good, but it is not maintained. The view from the living room is nice, and was my main reason to book this property. The driveway is steep. It may be hard to reach down with a car. The driveway is dirt and some gravel. I ended up with a rear wheel SUV which struggled to navigate up a little.

− Maintenance is poor. Shower is sad. It is a stand alone bath tub with all around plastic curtains that barely leave space to shower. You are constantly touching the wet curtains. It is not accessible and there is nothing to hold as you wash your feet so a little dangerous. The tub is really high as you get out. The shower mixer didn’t work well and needs to be replaced. The spout continues to run even when you transition the mixer to shower mode. Therefore there is no shower pressure and it is hard to control the temperature. The toilet stool was loose and wobbly. No place to hang clothes in the bathroom. It is a nice place but severely lacks maintenance. All the things are cheap (great value brand). No central heat. Each room has to be controlled with baseboard heaters. They have either dehumidifiers or ionizers constantly running in the house. The pillows had a musty smell. The check in asked too many questions. They even needed an identity check including a copy of the front and back of the drivers license. I am concerned about the security of my identity and was frankly hesitant. Had I known this was a requirement I would have booked elsewhere. I had no choice at the last moment. They wanted names and dates of birth of each occupant. There were no blinds in the living room. Finally, they wanted us to take out all the linens and put them in the bathtub. I wonder if we should charge for housekeeping? Many of the plates were chipped. While I understand that they have a nice location, they are just banking on the location without investing in the hospitality that can be provided. Having stayed at various properties, I find people are proud of the hospitality they provide to earn your business and make your stay memorable. Here it seems that they take you for granted. Paying close to $900 for two nights, I believe one can stay in a fairly nice property for that price. Sorry for a honest feedback. I hope this review helps the owner spruce up the experience.

We loved our stay here! Great little cabin with amazing views of the water and trails right outside. We will definitely stay here again.

It has a beautiful view into the bay. A peaceful environment and feels like your in the woods. We arrived earlier than expected and they allowed us to check in several hours earlier. Will definitely be staying again.
