− There is no dryer so we ended up drying our clothes in the lounge room with the AC on blast, worked a charm though! Wrong side for a sunrise, we woke up early hoping we would see one but no, still nice!
House with balcony and sea view
8.0I am not sure why it’s called “Cliff top Terrace”, maybe a misunderstanding? There is a balcony not a terrace. It’s at the higher part of a hill that rises from the sea, not at the top of a cliff. And the sunrise in the main image is probably visible in the winter months. It sets elsewhere when I was there in May. The beautiful thing about this place is the sea view from the balcony in the main room, the toilet and the bathroom.
− I agree with other guests that the kitchen is quite old and rusty. Which makes it look not very clean. There is no furniture in the main room at all. Chairs and a two seater sofa are in the kitchen. The house is directly at the main road of the island with frequent traffic. The main window in the kitchen is fully visible to the main road. Some windows in the main room are fully visible to the neighbours next door. Their house is on a couple of meters away.

10.0This is a stand alone house directly at the cliffs. Lower floor seemed to be storage area. All upper floor is guest apartment consisting of fully equipped kitchen with seating area, big tatami room, and one bedroom with two conventional beds. Latter two rooms open up to a terrace with beautiful sea view. There was self check-in and out without difficulties. Onsen 5 minutes away walking. Café and fish restaurant same distance. Supermarket down the road in town.
− The house did not adhere to the high Japanese standards of cleanliness in all of the rooms (especially not in the kitchen). But that was a minor flaw given the overall exceptional location, spaciousness, and the competitive room prices.
