The location is great, within walking distance of the beach, even with small children. The house is spacious, and the outdoor area is shaded in the mornings and evenings, so you can enjoy breakfast and dinner outside. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. Shops and restaurants are also within walking distance.

− We found the house to be quite dirty, especially the kitchen, which requires a thorough deep clean. The dishwasher also needs to be cleaned properly or replaced. The bathrooms, however, were clean, and there were plenty of clean towels, including beach towels, as well as clean bed linen. We also had an issue with parking. It was usually easy to find a space in the evenings, but it was much more difficult during the day. The parking is not dedicated to the property, so this is not the host's fault, but it's just a heads-up for future guests that parking may be difficult on Fridays and weekends.

Great location, not so great rooms

The location and the inner court were really nice and also the living room and the kitchen. Parking spot was always available on the street.

− The air in the rooms was very wet although the windows stayed open during the night making it difficult to sleep well. In addition in February during the night it is not that hot so it would have been great to have the option to use the AC in heat mode but it didnt worked. Also having the WC outside the room which meant going in the inner court at night was not that great. Overall a bit more cleaning would be also great.

This is indeed a beautiful traditional Canarian house which has been carefully modernised and for the first time, in our experience, it was even better than the online photographs. The courtyard is large and a lovely place to sit at different times of the day, the roof terrace is especially good at night when it's a little bit cooler. The well equipped house is within a few minutes walk of the beach, shops and marina, yet it's in a very quiet street which is so peaceful in the evenings and at night, it suited us perfectly and we have just had a wonderful two weeks there. I should also say thank you to Raul, the owner, he is very helpful and kindly arranged taxis for us to and from the airport which were spot on.
